Inkeltje Inkle Loom

“Inkeltje” is named after Pinkeltje, a beloved character from a classic Dutch children’s book by Dick Laan. Just like its namesake, Inkeltje is small, clever, and full of possibilities. Designed with input from Marieke Kranenburg, this compact inkle loom offers smart solutions for a variety of weaving situations.

Versatile and compact

• Short route: Ideal for sampling and small projects, with a warp length of approx. 1.15 m (45″).
• Long route: Suitable for longer bands, with a maximum warp length of approx. 1.8 m (70¾”).
• Side cut-out: Makes it easy to create sheds with either hand.
• Tablet weaving: The top peg can be removed, giving you extra length when working with tablets.
• Quick and easy to assemble: The handy screw construction allows for assembly in under 15 minutes.
• Left- and right-handed friendly: The loom can be assembled from either side to suit your weaving style.

Handy extras

• Velcro strap to keep your shuttle close at hand.
• End caps on the pegs to prevent the warp from slipping off.
• Rubber feet for extra stability during weaving, or use the optional table clamp to secure the loom.
• Comes with a small yellow shuttle with a sharp edge for beating.
• Compatible with hand-tied heddles or Texsolv heddles (160 mm).
• Includes a detailed assembly and weaving manual written by Marieke Kranenburg, with a sample pattern to get started right away.

Specifications

• Size: 43 x 22 x 14 cm (17″ x 8¾” x 5½”), pegs 9 cm (3½”) with a 18 mm diameter (11/16″). The tension peg has a diameter of 25 mm (1″), making it easy to use.
• Warp lengths: Short route approx. 1.15 m (45″), long route approx. 1.8 m (70¾”)
